Letter to Cloud999

Just out of curiosity, what are your spiritual beliefs?
Well, I can’t sum it up in a word like ‘Christian’, ‘Pagan’ or ‘Agnostic’… so I’m going to hope that you like to read. As you do, remember that you opened this can of worms! haha.
I’ve tried very hard to reverse-engineer my belief system to see if there is anything out there that correlates to it, even similarly. The best that I could find was a series of philosophical schools of belief relating to humanism. At first, I thought, “Well, humanism makes sense,” but there’s a lot to humanism that I would never want correlated to me in any way. Some of it even gets political- and mostly toward Liberalism/Socialism. I’m personally Conservative, so even that connotation didn’t sit well with me.
I did find a school of freethought that does do some of my beliefs justice, so I began studying Platonic Epistemology. This belief states at its foundation that the soul knows everything, but upon entering the body, it must rediscover what it already knows.
As this was found in the process of reverse engineering a belief system that I have created out of the things that I know to be true, Platonic Epistemology is more of a reference that I might use as a bibliographical footnote to underscore the above point.
Yet, I can find no other works that strictly define that Humanity is simply another stage of the trend that everything that exists consists of smaller, organized parts. Cells beget tissue. Tissue begets organs. Organs beget systems. Systems beget a human being. A Human being begets a society. Societies beget nations. Nations beget Humankind, which lives within and contributes to the life of the planet, which is a part of a solar system.
As part of Humankind, which is not unlike the systems that comprise a human being, we each have the simple purpose of maintaining and bettering the system, as components of that system. It is the membership of this system which grants certain abilities as our heritage… in the form of necessity. We each have innate strengths and weaknesses. Our strengths are simply to be used to strengthen Humankind’s existence while our weaknesses are to encourage the seeking of and adherence to a complementary society that can likewise make use of our strengths.
We also come with the natural capacity required to form the Human Hive Consciousness. As the Internet is nothing without the computers that are connected to each other to form it, this Hive Consciousness is nothing without each human mind to host it. What I am saying is that, at one time, we were of one language and one purpose. As a race, we had ready access to everything each member of the race knew. You see, even the act of learning was, at one time, no different than gathering nutritious plants for the tribe. The act of learning contributed to the library of the higher mind to which each brain was innately connected. The Internet is just an expression of what humans knew how to do organically at one time… and even the internet is limited to the full capacity of the Human Hive Consciousness.
These are the beliefs that make up the foundation of my personal belief system, which has been in the making for a little over twelve years. I can cite the reasons for my believing this from the works of others, but, as mentioned before, I cannot find an assembly of these thoughts in one school of thought. I just mentioned this because, unfounded, it does read to be a little crazy.
